MUSIC DOCUMENTARY
I am currently filming/producing what I hope to be the first of many music documentaries. It is the biggest project I have ever embarked on and I feel both excited and quite privileged that one of my favourite bands has entrusted me with honour of turning their story into a feature length documentary. Unless you are a fan of punk rock and Oi music like myself, then you would probably never even heard of Resistance 77. They are not superstars with over inflated egos bigger than their talent. They are just and group of regular down to earth guys doing what they love and doing it well. Their following just keeps growing and not just here in the UK, and their music just keeps on getting better and better. I hope you will discover their story here and be part of it!
We Are Resistance 77
Formed in 1980 merely for the passion and the fun, Resistance 77 have spent nearly 40 years in a life of true punk & Oi. We Are Resistance 77 is a documentary film that reveals the truth behind this maligned and underrated band and takes a personal in-depth look at the lives of its members to discover the inspiration behind their music, the highs and lows of being in a punk/Oi band, and what drive it takes to keep a dream alive against the odds!
